ICAR funded projects at the Division of Genetics on a contractual
basis.

Project Title: Incentivizing Research in Agriculture: Molecular
genetic analysis of resistance/tolerance to different stresses.
(Wheat)-Funded by ICAR.
Project Principal Investigator: Dr. Vinod
Age Limit: 35 years for SRF/JRF maximum (5 years of age relaxation
for SC/ST and women and 3 years for OBC)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Genetics / Genetics and Plant
Breeding/ Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree.
Candidate must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or PhD
in any of the above disciplines those with 3 years bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Qualifications: Field phenotyping, molecular markers,
and field crop handling experience.
Fellowship: Rs. 31000 + 24 % HRA Initial 2yr and Rs 35000 + 24 %
HRA from 3rd year.
Project Duration:
The positions are solely temporary and will be filled on a contractual
basis for a period of up to 30 September 2021 or until the project is
completed, whichever comes first, and may be extended on a periodic basis
subject to performance until the project is terminated.
