Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata is seeking applications for
one project linked employee to work full time in the Sedimentology
Laboratory of the Institute’s Geological Studies Unit.

Qualifications: Master degree or equivalent degree in Geology/
Applied Geology wit minimum of 55% aggregate score or equivalent. The
candidate should preferably have previous experience working in a
sedimentology laboratory.

Fellowships: 25000/- per month. 

Duration of  Project: 06 month from date of
his/her joining the institute which may be extended later/terminated
earlier, depending on availability of funds & performance of the
candidate. 

Age Limit: Maximum age limit 35 years as on 01 August 2021.
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates as
usual.

By August 31, 2021, the application must be sent to the
Professor-in-Charge, Physics & Earth Sciences Division, Indian
Statistical Institute, Kolkata, with all self-attested copies of all
documents/testimonials. 

Selected candidates must present all essential documents/testimonials
in original for verification, as well as a medical certificate of
fitness from the Institute’s Medical Officer, at the time of joining. In
the event that this is not possible, the institute will award the spot
to the next candidate on the merit list. 

CVs with missing information or without supporting papers will be
rejected outright. 

The qualified candidates who have been shortlisted will be contacted
for an interview (online or in person), the details of which will be
sent to their email address. The Institute reserves the right to refuse
